*What is Stitch Count?
Stitch count is the universal measure of embroidery. It quite simply is the number of stitches needed to embroider your design.
Embroidery size, detail, and fill are all factors in the amount of stitches. Most of the designs we do are under 6,000 stitches. The CHS, Vikings, Pepsi and Nautica Blankets are examples of stitch counts under 6,000.
The Gulls (All Weather Blanket) and the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital (Pink Baby Blanket with duck design) are good examples of more elaborate designs with higher stitch counts.. **What is Digitizing?
If you have a specific logo that we don't have in stock it may need to be digitized. Digitizing, or as it's commonly called, punching, is a process when an exclusive design or logo must be programmed in order for the embroidery machines to read and exactly duplicate it. The cost of this process is $10 per 1,000 stitches ($60 min.). It is a one-time fee and the program can be used on all other future applications with no additional charges. |
